Haryana ranks third in implementing 20 Point Programme
Chandigarh, Nov 25 (UNI) Haryana is at number three in the implementation of 20 Point Programme in the country, according to the latest review report of the programme released by the Central Government.
This was stated by deputy chairman of high powered committee relating to 20-Point Programme, Mr Phool Chand Mullana while reviewing the progress report of the implementation of this ambitious programme upto October 2008, in a meeting with concerned Heads of Departments here today.
Haryana has achieved 90 per cent or more targets in the areas of assisting individuals for employment, operational blocks under Integrated Child Development Services Scheme, functional Anganwadi Kendras, area covered under plantation, road length constructed under Prime Minister Grameen Sadak Yojana, implementation of Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana and number of pump sets energised from April to October 2008.
