Government warns fishermen not to venture into sea

Puducherry, Nov 25 (UNI) The Puducherry Administration today issued a warning to the fishermen not to venture into the sea, as it remained very rough.

Ms Ramalakshmi, Director of Fisheries Department in a release here cautioned of wind with speed ranging from 45 to 50 km in the next 24 hours and advised the fishermen not to enter the sea and to keep their boats and nets safely.

Meanwhile, in the wake of incessent rainfall and rough condition of the sea, fishermen did not go into it today.
