4 Cong Municipal councillors suspended for violating party discip
New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) The Congress today suspended five people, including four Municipal councillors, for anti party activities in the run up to the November 29 Delhi Assembly polls and violating party discipline.
Among those whose suspension was announced by Delhi Pradesh congress committee president Jai Prakash Agarwal are municipal councillor from Sangam Vihar West Azad Bidhuri, Municipal councillor from Badarpur Hemchand Goel, Municipal councillor from molarband ward Rajani Dagar, Municpal councillor from Vivek Vihar, Preeti and president of the Tilak Nagar district committee, Lakhbir Singh Chadha.
Today's suspensions follow the expulsion of eight persons last week including former Mayor and Municipal councillor Satbir Singh who is contesting as an independent from Mehrauli assembly segment against the official party candidate, state health Minister Yoganand Shastri.
