Youth shot dead in Sangli

Sangli, Maharashtra, Nov 24 (UNI) A 26-year-old-youth was allegedly shot dead by unidentified people in Shiral tehsil town of this district today.

According to police, the deceased, identified as Balasaheb Bhimrao Patil, used to run a departmental store.

Balasaheb was in his shop, when four people arrived on a motor-cycle and allegedly fired on him, police said.

No arrests have been made so far in this conection, police said, adding that land dispute might be the reason behind the crime.
