Robert Pattinson tops Entertainment Weekly's '10 Breakout Stars' list

New Delhi, Nov 24 : American magazine Entertainment Weekly has compiled a list of "10 Breakout Stars of 2008" and English actor Robert Pattinson has topped it.

Pattinson, 22, had played the part of Edward Cullen in "Twilight", the big screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's popular book series, reports the China Daily.

Included in the list is American teen actress Demi Lovato, who became famous after her Disney Channel's "Camp Rock" television movie, starring alongside the Jonas Brothers.

Brit funny man Russell Brand was on the list too, especially after he had audiences in hysterics in this summer's "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," along with hosting MTV's VMAs.

Next on the list was English hip hop/R and B singer, rapper Estelle, whose debut album, "Shine," paired her with some of music's greats including, Mark Ronson, Will.I.Am and Kanye West on her hit single, ''American Boy.''

American actress Shailene Woodley was also in the list known for her part of a pregnant teen on ABC Family's hit show, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

The list also included American singer David Cook, American actor Tristan Wilds, American actress Kat Dennings, American stand-up comedian Chelsea Handler, and Angel, a 4-year-old dog.
