Paris Hilton trying to win back ex-lover Benji Madden?

London, Nov 24 : If rumours are to be believed, Paris Hilton is desperately trying to win ex-lover Benji Madden back.

The hotel heiress chased her former boyfriend across Los Angeles in an attempt to reconcile with him following their split last week.

Hilton had reportedly been bombarding the Good Charlotte rocker with text messages, but he refused to reply.

When Hilton heard Madden was at the Villa nightclub, she decided to confront him and took pop star Avril Lavigne along for support.

"All her friends reckoned it was a bad idea. And when Paris and Avril set off, one pal thought Benji should be warned and he went mad," the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.

"The minute he put the phone down he ran out of the club. They missed each other by a few seconds and Paris was absolutely devastated," the source added.

After Benji, 29, had stormed out of the club he reportedly ranted: "Can't I have a night out in peace?"
