Nitish govt taking 'vindictive action' against opponents:LJP
Patna, Nov 24(UNI) The LJP today flayed the Nitish government for its 'vindictive action' against the political opponents and said those enjoying patronage of the NDA government, were being allowed to go scotfree.
Releasing the report card on the failure of Nitish Kumar government after its completion of three years in power, the party's national general secretary Arun Kumar said crimes continued to rise despite the 'tall' claims of the NDA government in improving the law and order situation in the state.
'' Those enjoying the patronage of the government were being allowed to go scot-free while the political opponents involved in petty and fabricated cases, were being tried in fast track courts,'' he said and alleged that several people declared 'absconder' by the police could be seen freely mixing with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The LJP leader said the Chief Minister had 'cheated' the teaching community by announcing flawed policy to scrap non-aided education policy in Bihar as the condition of thousands of teachers in affiliated colleges continued to remain pathetic.
The general secretary of LJP said several welfare schemes launched by the Centre including National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGA) were not being properly implemented in Bihar.
