Haryana Bijli Nigam to have CGRF at Rohtak

Chandigarh, Nov 24 (UNI) There is a good news for electricity consumers as the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has decided to set up one more Consumers Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) at Rohtak.

At present, the Chairperson and Member of the existing CGRF, Panchkula are visiting Rohtak in the last week of every month to register new complaints and giving hearing on complaints lodged by the consumers of district Rohtak, Jhajjar, Jind, Sonipat and Panipat.

A spokesman of the Nigam said here today that the Nigam has ten operation circles in its command area. The Panchkula operation zone controls Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Karnal operation circles whereas the Rohtak operation zone covers Rohtak, Jhajjar, Jind, Sonipat and Panipat circles.

As there was only one CGRF with its headquarter at Panchkula for the redressal of consumers grievances, it was decided to open another CGRF at Rohtak.
