BJP to go for road blockade in Tripura
Agartala, Nov 24: The Tripura unit of the BJP has announced a road blockade in the state to press the government for eight point demands on November 28.
The party has also demanded a CBI inquiry into the Agartala serial blast on October 1, expulsion of MLA Shahid Choudhury from the assembly for his alleged nexus with HuJI activist Mamun Mian and RSP MLA Parth Das for possessing fake SC certificate.
Criticising the Left front government in Tripura, BJP state president Nilmony Deb said the state authority failed to ensure transparency in the implementation of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) and upgradation of the basic amenities for common people.
