900 surgeons throng 3-day ENT surgeons conference in Thane

Thane, Nov 24 (UNI) More than 900 Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeons from across the world deliberated on the latest treatments in the field along with cost effectiveness in the three-day ENT surgeons conference held here November 21-23.

Addressing mediapersons here today, the organisers of the conference Dr Asheesh Bhumkar and Dr Ashim Desai claimed this was the second largest ENT surgens conference held anywhere in the world, the largest was held in Iraq, which was attended by more than 1,200 delegates.

During the conference, Jaipur-based Dr Satish Jain was felicitated for performing maximum number of ENT surgeries without compromising the quality, they said.

They further said that they are planning to extend the model of operation of Dr Jain, known as ''Jain Model'', across the country.

Dr Heinz Stammberger and Dr Dharambir Sethi, known to be stalwarts in the field were also present on the occasion.
