Train services disrupted at Gomo-Chandrapura route in Jharkhand
Bokaro, Nov 23 (UNI) Traffic was disrupted at the Gomo-Chandrapura route under Dhanbad division of Eastern Railway following the derailment of 11 bogies of a goods train near Telo village in this district early today.
Railway sources said there were no reports of any casualty, adding efforts were on to resume train services on the route.
Additional Divisional Manager of Dhanbad Division Gautam Kumar Banerjee said various trains, including 2806 Patna-Hatia Express, 2444 Rajdhani Express and 2826 Samparkranti, were dispatched through diverted routes.
Mr Banerjee estimated that it would take around 18 hours to bring the situation under control.
