Mr Eshwarappa no more a leader of Kuruba community
Hubli, Nov 23 (UNI) Karnataka State Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Chairman Varthuru Prakash, MLA today came down heavily on Minister for Power K S Eshwarappa stating that he has been no more the leader of Kuruba community as he never supported the cause of this down trodden community.
Addressing a press conference, Mr Prakash urged the Chief Minister to drop Mr Eshwarappa from the cabinet for his anti people attitude. "If not the entire Kuruba community will be forced to raise voice against him", he warned.
He said that former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah, who has really worked to uplift the Kuruba community, is the real leader. " After January 14 next there will be a perceptible change in the political scenario and Mr Siddaramaiah will emerge as their leader." However, Mr Prakash praised the Chief Minister B S Yaddyurappa as the best Chief Minister as he really cared for Kuruba community and appealed the voters to totally support all BJP candidates during the coming by-election.
Mr Prakash offered to resign as the legislator if Mr Eshwarappa won the election from his constituency as independent candidate.
