Railway factories to open new job opportunities in Bihar
Patna, Nov 22 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today said a number of factories being established in various parts of the state would open new opportunities of employment in Bihar.
Addressing a function, organised to mark the opening of Bikramganj-Pero section, Mr Prasad said the Railways had decided to set up factories at various places in the state and it would bring dramataic change in the employment scenario in Bihar.
Construction works of several railway projects had already started, while others are in the pipeline and it would come up soon within the stipulated timeframe, he added.
'' By the end of current fiscal, the Railways is likely to earn profit of Rs one lakh crore, '' Mr Prasad hoped and said achievements of Indian Railways were being appreciated across the globe.
