Pondy: Pastors organise fasting for Lankan crisis
Puducherry, Nov 22: The Puducherry Faith Pastors fellowship on Saturday, Nov 23 organised a one-day fasting prayer here to seek the blessings of Jesus Christ to solve the ethnic crisis in Sri Lanka.
Expressing concern over the killing of innocent Tamils in the island nation, the pastors prayed to god for their protection and to pave way for peace and war-free Sri Lanka.
The CPI legislator from Reddiyarpalayam constituency R Viswanathan participated in the prayer as a special invitee.
