Naxalites put up banner, condemn killing of colleagues
Udupi, Nov 22 (UNI) Naxalites putup a banner, condemning the killing of three of their colleagues in an exchange of fire recently with Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) in Mavinahola forest in Chikmagalore district.
In the exchange of fire on November 19, one constable was also killed.
About 15 naxalites visited the naxal infected Thobottu village in Kundapura taluk of Udupi district last night and put up a huge banner condemning the killing.
Expressing their condolence to the three comrades, they alleged that the Yaddyurappa government was indulging in the killing of naxalites, who were fighting for a noble cause.
The three comrades had sacrificed their noble life, the banner read.
The ANF squad rushed to the spot. It also recovered some handouts from them and intensified combing operation in and around Thobottu.
