Ranchi, Nov 22 (UNI) The BJP today charged the Union and Maharashtra governments with indulging in ''appeasement politics'' by enforcing Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against all the 11 accused of Malegaon blast case.

'' The UPA wants to appease a section of people and take benefit in the coming elections, '' Mr Samar Singh, state president of party's doctors' cell, here said.

The government implemented MCOCA when it faced criticism from different sections, Mr Singh said adding the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) was acting as ''puppet'' of the Centrel government in this particular case.
