Son commits suicide after mother dies of cancer

Mumbai, Nov 21 (UNI) A 55-year-old man allegedly committed suicide, following the death of his mother due to cancer, at Dhruv Apartment in Dadar at northcentral Mumbai.

Police said, Subhash Ghadse hanged himself soon after his 85-year-old mother Anusuya died yesterday. Police found Subhash hanging from a ceiling fan, while his mother's body was lying on the bed.

Subhash, who was a bachelor and lived with his mother in the flat, had left a suicide note stating that no one should be blamed for his death and that their house should be given to a trust, added.

Subhash was worried for the last several days over the deteriorating condition of his mother's health.
