Forex reserves drop by USD 5 bn to USD 246.35 bn
Mumbai, Nov 21 (UNI) Foreign exchange reserves dropped by USD 5.015 billion to USD 246.349 billion for the week ended November 14, according to data released by RBI today.
Foreign currency assets declined by USD 5.006 billion to USD 237.521 billion. Gold reserves were unchanged at USD 8.382 billion.
Meanwhile, SDRs slipped by USD six million to USD three million, Reserve Position in the IMF was down by USD three million at USD 443 million.
The rupee today recovered to close at 50.03 per dollar against its yesterday's close of 50.22.
