Cold weather in Delhi heralds Winter, mercury drops to 24.3 Deg C
New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) Even as the political temperature soars in the Capital, the mercury continues its downwards march, heralding the winter season in Delhi.
The downwards slide in mercury in the Capital city, brought about by thunderstorms yesterday, continued today with the maximum temperature dropping to 24.3 Degree Celsius, three degrees below normal.
The mist in the morning, however, helped the minimum temperature three degrees above normal at 13.6 Degree Celsius.
The downwards movement in mercury is expected to continue tomorrow as well with the weathermen forecasting a drop in minimum temperature to 12 Degree C.
They have also forecast the maximum temperature at 25 Degree C.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with likelihood of mist in the morning.
