Warrant issued for production of RJD MP in triple murder case

Jamshedpur, Nov 20 (UNI) A local court here has issued a production warrant for controversial Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Mohammed Shahabuddin here in connection with a two-decade old triple murder case.

Fast track court of Awadesh Mall issued the production warrant yesterday to the Jail and other concerned authorities of Siwan in Bihar, where the RJD MP is presently lodged in connection with several other criminal cases.

According to prosecution, Md Shahabuddin killed three people in Jugsalai area here on February 2, 1989. The court had also issued similar warrants in the past for his production here and even asked the Bihar home secretary and other top police officials for the execution of the warrant, but he could not be produced so far citing several pending cases against him in Bihar as the reason.
