Kidwai lauds Haryana pavillion for highlighting the theme

Chandigarh, Nov 20 (UNI) Haryana Government has started many new schemes and programmes in the field of Infrastructure and Women Empowerment, Governor Dr A R Kidwai said today.

Dr Kidwai, who visited the Haryana Pavillion at the ongoing 28th Indian International Trade Fair in New Delhi, said that this year the pavillion was set up in accordance with the theme 'Infrastructure and Women Empowerment' and showcased all important initiatives and schemes implemented by the Haryana Government.

During his visit, he appreciated the model of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway exhibited at the pavillion. He also visited various stalls and models of various projects set by the Agriculture, Irrigation, Education, Technical Education and Power departments. He also looked at the working model of the EDUSAT network project.

Governor also visited the various products and stalls set up by the women self help groups working in cooperation with the Mewat Developmnt Board.
