Court issues warrant against Bhopal Collector
Jabalpur, Nov 20 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a bailable warrant against Bhopal Collector Manish Rastogi for the non-compliance of the court order directing him to give promotion and consequential benefits to steno-cum typist Surya Bhan Sharma.
A single bench Justice Rajendra Menon issued the directive yesterday after hearing the petition of Suryabhan Sharma, who was a steno in Collector office in Satna.
The petitioner alleged that the High Court directed to issue orders for his promotion and other benefits but then Satna Collector Rastogi did not implement it.
Besides imposing a fine of Rs 500, the court also directed the Collector to give promotion to the petitioner and to personally appear before the court on next hearing on December 15.
