Corruption minimises FDI flow: Pondy Education Secretary
Puducherry, Nov 20 (UNI) Mr G C Joshi, Secretary to the government of Puducherry (Education), today said there would be substantial increase in the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the country if the level of corruption was brought down.
Inagurating a one-day seminar on 'Vigilance Awareness' here, he said the GDP growth would also increase if a multi-sectoral attack was unleashed on corrupt practices.
He also appealed to the people to develop awareness and play a pro-active role in curbing corruption and other illegal practices in the society.
Puducherry Chief Secretary Naini Jayaseelan delivered the valedictory address.
