TTD Chairman releases brahmotsavams posters, prog booklets

Tirupati, Nov 19 (UNI) As part of preparations for the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari annual Brahmotsavams in Tiruchanur temple beginning November 23, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) Chairman D K Audikesavulu Naidu released wall posters and programme booklets on Goddess Padmavathi Ammavari Kartheeka Brahmotsavams at the temple.

Speaking on the occasion yesterday, the chairman said the TTD has made a golden chariot, made of 23 kg of gold and 1050 kg copper, for Goddess Padmavathi, which will be taken out in a procession during the brahmotsavams.

He also explained to the media about the facilities to be provided to the pilgrims during Brahmotsavams.

Later, the Chairman offered pujas to the Aswa Vahanam of Goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru in the temple donated by Tirupati MLA and Congress leader M Venkataramana. The cost of the Vahanam is Rs 20.5 lakh.

TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary, TTD Board member Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Tirupati MLA M Venkataramana, TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer B V Ramana Kumar and others have participated.
