Tirupati MLA donates golden Aswa vahanam to Tiruchanur temple

Tirupati, Nov 19 (UNI) Tirupati MLA and Congress leader Dr Venkataramana has donated Rs 20 lakh worth Aswa Vahanam to the Goddess Padmavathi Ammavari in TTD-run Tiruchanur temple near here.

The golden vahanam weighing 2 kgs was handed over to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman D K Audikesavulu Naidu yesterday inside the temple by the legislator. Earlier, the Chairman offered 'pujas' to the Aswa Vahanam which will be used during the Tiruchanur ammavari brahostvasam to be held from November 23.
