Ten day 'Aurangabad-Shilpotsav-2008' to start on November 22
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 19 (UNI) A 10-day folk art festival, ''Aurangabad Shilpotsav 2008'', will be held from November 21 to November 30 at Ayodhya Nagari of the district.
The festival will be organised by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in association with the Ministry of Tourism Government of India, Government of Maharashtra Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Commissioner Development (Handicraft) according to a MTDC release issued here today.
Minister for Tourism and Rural, Maharashtra, Development Vijaysinh Mohite Patil, will inaugurate the ''Aurangabad Shilpotsav 2008 '', on November 22. It will showcase all the attractive tourist destinations of Maharashtra, traditional culture, arts and crafts from all over India. There will be cultural programmes in the evening.
The festival will conclude on the November 30 with the presentation of 'Glimpses of India' (Bharat Darshan) and folk dances by various artists of Western Zone cultural Centre, the relase added.
