Six people hospitalised after consuming paint thinner
Shillong, Nov 19 (UNI) Six people have been admitted to hospital here in a serious condition after they consumed paint thinner, police said today.
All the six people, most of them youths, consumed the paint thinner mistaking it for illicit liquor at Wahrit village near Mairang sub-division yesterday.
The victims - Derangstal Ryngtathaing (19), Bantari Sun (22), Kynshewlang Sun (16), Tarlud Shaprang Lyngdoh Kynshi (14), Barlestar Lyngdoh Kynshi (21) and Jelstalius Sun (21) - have been admitted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
