Shramjivi blast: terrorist produced in court
Jaunpur, Nov 19 (UNI) The judicial custody of the accused in the Patna-New Delhi Shramjivi Express bomb blast case was today extended till November 29, the next date of hearing.
According to official sources, Alamgeer alias Mohd Roni, presently lodged in Tihar Jail, today appeared before Additional District and Sessions Judge (III) Rajendra Chandra under tight security, where testimony of doctor A K Srivastava, a witness in the case, was recorded.
The July 28, 2005 blast near Halpalganj-Singramau railway station in the district had killed at least 14 people and grievously wounded 90 others.
Fixing November 29 as the next date of hearing into the case, the court summoned witness Thakur Prasad for recording their statement.
