Pranab appeal to help Congress
Bhopal, Nov 19 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today appealed to give another opportunity to the Congress in the assembly election in Madhya Pradesh to ensure the state's development and said the party would accept with all humility the people's verdict.
Mr Mukherjee, who released the party's manifesto for the Assembly election, also sought apology for delayed release of the manifesto.
Besides Mr Mukherjee, who is also chairman of the party's Central Manifesto Committee, MPCC chief Suresh Pachouri, party's state incharge General Secretary V Narayansami and party observers Gurudas Kamath and K V Krishnamurthy and actor Raj Babbar were also present on the occasion.
