Polling booths increase in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, Nov 19: Polling booths in 230 assembly segments in Madhya Pradesh for the current election touched 47,209, including 397 subsidiary booths, official sources said on Wednesday, Nov 19. This is 4933 booths more than that during the previous assembly election in 2003.

District-wise, Indore has the maximum 1965 booths while Sheopur having only two assembly segments has 389 booths.

Segment-wise, Lakhnadon(ST) in Seoni district has the highest number of 315 booths as compared to the lowest of 132 booths in Gwalior East.
