Police arrest two perons for duping people
Hyderabad, Nov 19 (UNI) The city police today arrested two persons who duped gullible people by luring them with false promise of selling gold at cheap price and escape with the money collected by diverting their attention.
Police seized cash of Rs 3.5 lakhs and other materials from them, according to a press release.
The arrested persons E Nageshwar Rao, Srinivas Rao, and another accused Venkat Rao, who was absconding, used the modus operandi of picking on innocent people by telling them that huge quantity of gold had been caught by customs officials at Kakinada and Vizag ports and that they were willing to dispose the gold secretly at a cheap price.
