Model alleges gangrape, withdraws complaint
New Delhi, Nov 19 (UNI) A 23-year-old model was allegedly gangraped in Chhattarpur area of south Delhi, but later backtracked from her statement.
Police has denied the incident saying that neither any complaint was lodged nor any case registered.
According to sources, the victim who arrived from Mumbai was allegedly dragged into a car by four men in Chhattarpur area last evening.
After raping her in a moving vehicle for several hours, they dropped her out of the car, after which she called the police.
However, the victim backtracked from her 'allegation', reportedly under 'pressure', today morning and refused to get her medical examination done.
Police said she did not lodge any complaint and so no case had been formally registered, while acknowledging that it had been 'informed'.
