Meenava Kazhagam stage demo to press demands

Puducherry, Nov 19: Volunteers of the Puducherry Meenava Makkal Kazhagam here on Wednesday, Nov 19 held a demonstration in front of the fisheries department to press their demands.

They were demanding, among other things, deepening of the estuary of the fishing harbour here and immediate provision of compensation for the fishing ban period for fibre boat owners to the tune of Rs 3,000, which was pending.
