Madurai: Polytechnic college in Kallar soon

Madurai, Nov 19: Only education can ward-of poverty, said Minister for Handloom and Backward Classes Welfare Ramachandran. On the occassion of distributing cash awards and bicycles to students at the Kallar Reclamation School at Chekkanoorani, he promised the Govt will establish a polytechnic institute. And provide better infrastructure facilities in all Kallar reclamation schools.

He said that the government was committed to uplifting the most backward classes. “Only when education is imparted to all, the society will benefit and achieve in all spheres," he said.
