AP pays tribute to Indira Gandhi

Hyderabad, Nov 19: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Wednesday, Nov 19 led the state in paying floral tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 91st birth anniversary. Dr Reddy, his Cabinet colleagues, PCC President D Srinivas, legislators and senior leaders of the Congress garlanded the statue of Indira Gandhi at party headquarters, Gandhi Bhavan.

Office-bearers of the Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee celebrated Indira Gandhi's Jayanti by paying rich tributes to the first woman Prime Minister of India at the party office on the occasion.

Later, Mr Srinivas distributed sarees to the poor at the party office to mark the occasion.
