Folk singer Balbir Mann, wife booked for trespass

Sangrur, Nov 19 (UNI) Police today booked popular Punjabi folk singer Balbir Mann, his wife and Brother-in-Law for trespassing into a house at night with mal-intentions.

Police has booked Mann, wife Sunita and her brother Surinder Kumar 'Bittu' under sections 457, 380 and 511 IPC on the complaint of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Khalifa Gali in Sangrur town.

Ramesh Kumar had complained that late last night he heard sounds of some people entering their house from the roof and raised an alarm. As the neighbours and family members came out of the house, they saw Mann and others rushing out of their house after opening he main door from inside.

Mann is already facing charges of fraud and human trafficking, sources said.
