Five LJP leaders expelled from party

Samastipur, Nov 19 (UNI) The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) today expelled five senior leaders of its party, including its Bihar unit secretary, for their anti-party activities.

Samastipur district president of LJP Vinod Chouhdry told newspersons here that the disciplinary committee of the party took the action against LJP state secretary Ramashish Yadav, Samastipur district president Baleshwar Rai and other leaders, namely Hemant Choudhry, Ashok Mahto and Ranveer Kumar. These leaders had been expelled from the party's primary membership for the next six years.

Mr Choudhry also asked Maheshwar Hazari of the party to resign for issuing baseless statements against the LJP chief and Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan.
