Cycle rally marks beginning of 'Quami Ekta' Week in city

Chandigarh, Nov 19 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration organized a cycle rally to mark the beginning of 'Quami Ekta' (national integration) Week from today.

Home Secretary-cum Secretary Education, Ram Niwas, flagged off the rally from Sector 17, aimed at spreading the feeling of love, unity, integrity and brotherhood among the citizens. The rally terminated at the lake.

Students from different schools and volunteers from NGOs participated in the rally, in which banners were extensively used.

About 500 participants took part in this cycle rally.
