Candidate weighed with 'laddus', poll code violation case registered
Patthalgaon, CG, Nov 19 (UNI) A case of violation of model code of conduct has been registered against Congress candidate from Patthalgaon assembly seat Rampukar Singh, who was being weighed with 'laddus (sweet)' at a programme here.
Assistant Returning Officer Santosh Dewangan said the programme was organised by Mr Singh's supporters at the bus stand here.
He said the programme was stopped as it violated poll code before the second phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly polls. Eight kg 'laddus', scales and weights were seized.
