Student falls prey to criminals

Sasaram, Nov 18 (UNI) A student Manish Thakurai was killed after he was beaten up and thrown on the railway tracks by a group of criminals under Durgawati Police Station in Kaimur district of Bihar today.

Police said the criminals forcibly caught the student when he was on way to his school this morning and beat him up mercilessly.

Later,they threw Manish on the railway tracks on which a goods train was crossing over. The victim was run over and killed by the speeding train.

An FIR has been lodged at the concerned police station on the basis of the statement of the victims mother. The matter was being investigated.
