Movement on Chambal river ghats banned

Morena, MP, Nov 18 (UNI) A close vigil would be maintained along the borders of Ambah assembly constituency in Morena district and movement would be completely banned on the ghats of Chambal river from November 25.

Boats would be seized and pedestrian movement will not be allowed. Likewise, ban would be imposed along the borders of Sabalgadh and Morena assembly constituencies adjoining Rajasthan.

The decision was taken during a meeting of electoral and administrative officials yesterday to ensure free and fair polls in the region.

Paramilitary force will maintain close vigil on all villages on the banks of Chambal river on motor boats from November 20.

The meeting decided to ban liquor and arms completely.
