Chamarajanagar records lowest temperature

Bangalore, Nov 18 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (mm): Shirahatti 3, Soundatti, Hubli, Navalgund 2 each, Dharwad, Kundagol, Deverahippargi, Lakkavalli 1 each.

Temperatures: Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Chamarajanagar recorded lowest minimum temperature of 17.5 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely in some areas. Minimum temperature will be around 19 degree celsius.
