BSF porter dies in snowstorm in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 18: A porter working with the BSF was killed when he was caught in a snowstorm near a forward post in nort Kashmir, official sources said on Tuesday, Nov 18.

They said 28-year-old Mohammad Lateef Bajard was on his way to Bakerwal check post in Baramulla district when he was stuck in a snowstorm.

However, before the team reached the spot to rescue him, he died.

His body was handed over to his relatives, they said.
