Hyderabad, Nov 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today refuted the apprehensions and allegations made by the Telugu Desam Party, Telangana Rastra Samithi, Praja Rajyam Party and other parties on the Pranahitha-Chevella Sujala Sravanthi(PCSS) lift and other irrigation projects in the state.

On Telangna Rashtra Samithi President K Chandrasekhara Rao's apprehension that how the government would meet the power requirment for the project he said the government had taken all the measures to meet the power requirement for the project. The total power requirement for 24 lift irrigation projects, including the PCSS was 6749 MW, he added.
