Speakers reserve verdict on suspended BJP MLA Bishnu Bhaiya

Ranchi, Nov 17 (UNI) Jharkhand Speaker Alamgir Alam today heard the argument in connection with suspended BJP Legislator Bishnu Bhaiya, accused of anti-defection.

With this the Speaker completed the hearing and five cases leaving six other such cases would be taken up.

BJP senior leader and Leader of Opposition Arjun Munda and one Samuel Paul Kerketta had filed the petition against Bhaiya.

After hearing both sides, the Speaker reserved his ruling.

The Speaker had earlier said he would pronounce his verdict on the eleven Legislators after completing the hearing of all the accused.

Mr Alam said he was likely to complete hearing by early next month.

Cases of Enos Ekka, Stephen Marandi, Kamlesh Singh (all Ministers) and suspended BJP MLA Pradeep Yadav had already been heard.
