One held for betting India-England second one dayer
Vijayawada, Nov 17 (UNI) The Anti Goonda Squad (AGS) police arrested a person on the charge of betting the India-England second one-day international cricket match, being played at Indore today.
Police said on a tip-off, the AGS Sub-inspector and his team conducted raid, where the accused Srinivasa was carrying out the betting at a house in Eenadi colony in Patamata area near hear.
Srinivasa used to bet cricket matches over mobile phones with the persons, whom he knew across Andhra Pradesh.
Seven mobile phones, one laptop, Rs 1.10 lakh cash and a television set was recovered from his possession, police added.
