One army jawan killed in exchange of fire in Poonch
Poonch, Nov 17 (UNI) One army jawan was killed in an exchange of fire with militants in Mendhar area of this bordering district of Poonch which goes to the Assembly polls today, official sources said.
There was a heavy exchange of fire with militants at Behra forests near Mendhar town of the district early morning, sources said.
The search operation was on in the area.
Three constituencies -- Mendhar, Poonch-Haveli and Surankote -- goes to the polls today.
