Newborn girl found in garbage

Mumbai, Nov 17 (UNI) City police today found a newborn girl child from a garbage bin in Manipada area of Kalina here.

The infant was found by a woman, who had checked the bin on noticing some movements in it at around 0930 hrs, police said.

The baby has been admitted to a local hospital and will be soon shifted to an orphanage, police said.

Nobody has claimed the infant yet, police added.
