Journalist shot dead in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 17 (UNI) A journalist, working in the Imphal Free Press, was shot dead this evening at Langol, Imphal West.

Police said Konsam Rishikanta (23) of Ningomthong, who had been working in the newspaper, was gunned down by unknown armed persons.

The reasons for the killing was not yet known, police added.
