Inter-state arm dealers arrested in Bihar

Patna, Nov 17 (UNI) Police today arrested 10 inter-state firearm dealers from Gandhi Nagar police station here today.

Senior Police Superintendent Amit Kumar said here acting on a tip-off, a raid was conducted at a hideout under the police station, leading to the arrest of the firearms dealers.

''Two rifles and several live cartridges, besides Rs 5.30 lakh in cash, were recovered during the search operation,'' he said adding the arrested criminals used to supply firearms to naxlites in Bihar and other bordering states.

All the criminals were residents of Aurangabad and Arwal districts, police said.
